Compared to buses, air travel is the fastest, most convenient, and neat way to travel to Phu Quoc Island from Saigon.
Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet, and Bamboo Airways offer daily flights from Ho Chi Minh to Phu Quoc, and the journey takes approximately 55 minutes to 1 hour.
The ticket price ranges from 450,000 to 800,00 VND depending on the flight operators and season.

How to book online flight tickets to Phu Quoc Island
From Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you can choose from about 15 flights per day.

A. Ho Chi Minh to Rach Gia Bus
FUTA Bus and Thien Thanh Limousine offer daily buses from Ho Chi Minh to Rach Gia. The journey takes approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes.
Cost: The ticket fee ranges from 165,000 VND to 280,000 VND, depending on the bus providers.
To facilitate the trip and save one night at Rach Gia pier, you should take an 11 pm or midnight bus ride to arrive at 5 am or 6 am.
If you take the 11 pm trip, you will arrive at Rach Gia around 5:30 am, and if you take the midnight bus, you will come at around 6:30 am. Try to catch some sleep on the bus; otherwise, you will lose a lot of energy there.
B. Rach Gia to Phu Quoc Island Ferry
After getting to Rach Gia, you can walk or get a motorbike taxi or taxi to Rach Gia pier.
