Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat bus

Traveling from Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat by bus is the easiest and most affordable option. The journey takes approximately 6.5 hours to 8 hours, depending on the transport providers.
Frequent day and night sleeper buses depart to Da Lat from Ho Chi Minh. Luxury vans and limousines are alternative choices that offer luxury services at affordable prices.
Recommended transport providers are Phuong Trang (Futa), Techbus, and The Sinh Tourist.

As the number of seats is limited and the quality of service is high, there will be no good seats or tickets if the booking date is too close to the departure date. Thus, you should book your seat in advance.
There’s wifi and a large 21-inch LED screen on each car, and the USB charging port is located near the seats. Passengers can have a cold tower and a free water bottle for each trip.

There are buses almost every 30 minutes, so you don’t need to be afraid of missing one.

Da Lat Airport to Da Lat city center Bus
Duration: 45 minutes
Lien Khuong Airport is about 30 km from Da Lat city center.
From Lien Khuong Airport, you can take a private transfer to Da Lat city center without a hassle.

Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat Train + Bus/Motorbike
Although the Da Lat Train station is closed now, you can still take a train if you wish to.
Firstly, you’ll need to take a train from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang, then take a bus from Nha Trang to Da Lat.
Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang Train
- Duration: 7 – 9.5 hours
- The cost starts at 381 000 VND ($15) for a soft seat.
Vietnam Railways offer daily trains from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang, and the journey can take from 7 hours up to 9.5 hours depending on the train.

- Saigon Railway station: 01 Nguyễn Thông, Phường 9, District 3, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh
- Nha Trang Railway station: 17 Thái Nguyên, Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa

Nha Trang to Da Lat Bus

From Nha Trang, you can take a sleeper bus or limousine to Da Lat. Duc Duong, Hanh Cafe, and Techbus are great choices.
Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat Taxi

Besides going from Saigon to Da Lat by plane or bus, you can also travel to Da Lat by private car.
However, this option is only recommended if you travel in a group as it can be costly. If you travel alone, you should consider taking a bus or flight to Da Lat.
Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat motorbike
If you wish to go directly from Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat by motorbike, you need to prepare well in advance.
As the distance is 300km and the road can be difficult and dangerous to drive, we only recommend doing this if you’re sure about the route and your driving skills.
