Phan Rang is known as the land of sunshine and wind, arid all year round, but for some reasons, the climate here is very suitable for vines to grow and develop.
We learn a lot about the grapes from our visit to Ba Moi vineyard, a field just 8 km from Phan Rang city. After our exploration, we could try some freshly-picked grapes and experiencing wine tasting there.
Visit Bau Truc pottery village
Bau Truc pottery village is one of the oldest pottery villages in South East Asia.
We were impressed by the process of making pottery there. Without any equipment, an elderly lady made a nice bowl within a blink.
Have fun with the sheep
With breathtaking mountain scenery, poetic lake, and green meadows, An Hoa sheep field is a fascinating destination to visit in Ninh Thuan Vietnam.
We stopped by a farm in the area and had a relaxing time here. In addition to sheep, we also saw cows and goats. The area was amazing, and it was delightful to visit the countryside.

Try local food
With us, trying local food is the reason traveling is the best adventure.
Our favorite restaurant is Buffet Nau Do, a buffet restaurant near Ninh Thuan Museum.
The restaurant offers a fabulous deal. At only 120,000 VND ($5), you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet with a variety of dishes ranging from seafood to delicious meat. We loved their rib pork and shrimps!
Relax at the beach
After a fun day exploring Phan Rang, we’d recommend visiting one of the beaches in the city.
We visited both Phan Rang beach and Ninh Chu beach, and our preference is Phan Rang beach. Although Ninh Chu beach has a long coastal line, we spot lots of trash.
Ride to Vinh Hy Bay
Vinh Hy Bay is a beautiful bay of Ninh Thuan Vietnam.
On the way to the bay, you will be able to conquer one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam, DT702, with one side is the sea and the other is a majestic mountain range.
The best time to explore this route is from March to September, as the weather is quite pleasant with little rain.
After arriving at the Bay, don’t forget to enjoy seafood or watch corals here!
See Phuong Cuu salt field
Located about 15 km from Phan Rang city, in Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan, Phuong Cuu salt field is considered the largest salt field in Central Vietnam.
In addition to the unique beauty of the salt field, the area also stands out with the hardworking people.
