Hue to Da Nang car
Starting from the center of Hue city, you drive from Hung Vuong street to Nguyen Tat Thanh street, to Huong Thuy commune.
Then continue on the National Highway 1A. From here, drive about 56km in the direction of Lang Co town.
Your car will pass the Hai Van tunnel with a length of about 6.2km. Out of the tunnel is the territory of Da Nang city.
Hue to Da Nang taxi
Taking a taxi is a flexible and convenient way to travel from Hue to Da Nang. It’s great if you travel in a group or have a short time.
A taxi ride to Da Nang takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Taxi fare starts from $45 (€42) for this route.
Hue to Da Nang motorbike
If you travel by motorbike, you can take the Hai Van pass or the tunnel.
- Hai Van Pass route: You can see the beautiful scenery of Lang Co and visit Hai Van Quan. I recommend not to go early in the morning or too late because it’s not safe.
- Hai Van tunnel: When you get near the tunnel, please park your motorbike at the office of the management board. The truck will take your motorbike through the other side of the tunnel while you take the shuttle and pick up your bike at the other side of the tunnel.
