Traveling by bus from Hue to Phong Nha Ke Bang is one of the most convenient ways. Queen Cafe and Hung Thanh offer direct sleeper bus from Hue to Phong Nha, and the journey takes 4 hours to 4.5 hours.

Duration: 4 hours 10 minutes

Cost: starts at $5

As there’s no direct train station in Phong Nha Ke Bang, you will need to take a train from Hue to Dong Hoi and then take a taxi from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha.

Vietnam Railways offers daily trains from Hue to Dong Hoi, and the journey takes approximately 4 hours 10 minutes to 4 hours 40 minutes depending on each train.

Especially, you can take a private train with Violette Trains and enjoy high-quality service.

Hue to Phong Nha private car

Another option to go from Hue to Phong Nha is by private transfer. However, this option can be expensive and only recommended if you travel in a group.
