2. Carry sunscreen and apply it often
Sunscreen is a must-have item when traveling.
Whether cloudy or cold, ultraviolet rays are still active and harmful to our skin. Therefore, wherever you travel, always carry sunscreen.
One more note, don’t just apply sunscreen to the face but also sensitive skin areas such as the neck, arms, thighs. You should apply evenly all over the body.
Also, remember to apply the cream regularly. All brands state the best protection time for the product. I recommend reapplying sunscreen for optimal skin protection, especially when in the sun or under the pool, the beach.
3. Bring moisturizer
Our skin often reacts very quickly to hot or cold weather. So, don’t get used to moisturizer in your travel bag.
Moisturizing cream will provide essential vitamins, provide hydration, protect healthy skin from ultraviolet rays or harmful factors from the outside environment.
Depending on your skin type, choose the most suitable moisturizer for you.
4. Drink water regularly
When the skin is exposed to the sun, the water molecules will evaporate. This can cause the skin to become dry.
Therefore, replenish the amount of water in the body by drinking water regularly.
Drink at least 2 liters per day to keep the skin always have enough moisture. It’ll help to avoid dry, cracked, or unsightly skin.
5. Eat healthy
You often have to be exposed to more sunlight than usual when traveling. So to best protect your skin, you should combine sun protection from the outside and inside.
Green tea, orange juice, or fruits with high Vitamin C will give you supplements.
Also, you can take sunscreen pills. They are effective and convenient, and you can carry them anywhere for full-body sun protection.
