Sun World Halong Complex, Halong

Sun World Halong Complex is another great amusement park in Vietnam.

When you come here, the first thing that catches your eye will be the cable car ride, offering a breathtaking view of the entire complex from above. Once arriving, you can explore the theme park filled with exciting rides and attractions, including a 360-degree spinning ride.

The roller coaster is a highlight for me, and the Dragon’s Run ride also brings a lot of fun.

Another of my favorite activities is to try the Queen Cable Car, which is the world’s first and longest cable car with a two-story cabin. It links the Ocean and Sun observation platforms, so you can enjoy breathtaking views of Halong Bay from above.

Mystic Mountain is also worth visiting to explore Japanese architecture with Kidoland children’s play area and Japanese Garden. All of the games here are great for all ages.

You shouldn’t miss the Sun Wheel, a giant Ferris wheel with amazing views of the surrounding area. The Sun World Halong Complex’s Typhoon Water Park is excellent if you’re seeking fun water activities.

VinWonders Nha Trang

VinWonders Nha Trang has everything for a fun day out.

One thing that really impressed me about Vin Wonders Nha Trang was their attention to detail. The park theme is really well done, with different sections dedicated to different areas of Vietnam.

It was really cool to walk through a replica of Hoi An or see a giant statue of a dragon. Also, the food options at the park are also fantastic, with delicious Vietnamese street food and classic theme park snacks like popcorn and cotton candy.

Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, Phu Quoc

Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park promises to bring a fun-filled day in nature with plenty of activities to keep you entertained.

VinWonders Phu Quoc is packed with thrilling rides and attractions, making it perfect for anyone looking for some fun and excitement. The park is recognized as the biggest theme park in Vietnam, offering a world-class system of activities.

There are six magnificent parts: European Street, Fantasy World, Viking Village, The Seashell, Adventure World, and Typhoon World. Speaking of rides, there are so many to choose from! Whether you’re a fan of roller coasters, water slides, or more gentle attractions, there’s something for everyone.

Lovers of “Alice in Wonderland” should not forget to visit the Wonderland attraction to see childhood pals like the Mad Hatter, the secretive, smiling Cheshire Cat, and the always-late White Rabbit. I particularly loved the 4D&5D cinema experience; it was so cool to feel like being right in the middle of the action.

Moreover, the park is so clean and tidy, and you can tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping it that way. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink, so you can refuel between rides.

Dam Sen Cultural Park, Ho Chi Minh city

Dam Sen Park is also one of my favorite theme parks in Ho Chi Minh city. It has fun rides and several things to see and do.

If you travel with kids, they will love Crocodile Farm, Snake Farm, Green House, and Cactus Flower House. They’re peaceful and serene, giving you a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the crowd.

The 3D Art Museum in Dam Sen Cultural Park is also a must-see attraction, where you can take photos with 3D paintings and optical illusions.

But what really sets Dam Sen apart are the cultural exhibits, like the traditional Vietnamese village and the art gallery showcasing local artists. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture all the beautiful sights!

Be sure to visit Dam Sen’s water park if you love fun water activities. My favorite sections are the two-super speed slides and the Love Storm & Space Bowl sliding chute. You’ll start  from a height of 12m and then free-fall into the giant lake.

Suoi Tien Theme Park, Ho Chi Minh city

Suoi Tien Theme Park offers a unique experience with many rides and attractions, making it perfect for all ages.

One thing I love about Suoi Tien is how they incorporate Vietnamese culture and mythology into the park. From giant dragon sculptures to temple-themed roller coasters, there’s always something exciting and unique to see. Plus, Suoi Tien is just stunning with beautiful gardens and ponds.

It also has a water park section with some entertaining slides if you want to cool off. I couldn’t get enough of the lazy river and wave pool, especially on a hot day.

While the park can get pretty crowded, waiting in line for the popular rides is worth it. I recommend downloading the park map ahead of time to plan out your day and make sure you hit all the attractions you want to see.

  • Research the park in advance: To make the most of your time at the park, my suggestion is to familiarize yourself with its background, most visited attractions, and any promotions or events that may be taking place during your visit.
  • Consider a private tour: Consider booking a private tour with a local guide if you want a more personalized experience and deeper insights into the park’s culture and history.
  • Respect local customs: Vietnam has unique customs and traditions, so respect them when visiting theme parks or other tourist destinations. For example, avoid wearing revealing clothing or public displays of affection.
  • Be patient: Visiting theme parks in Vietnam can be a chaotic and busy experience. So, be patient and stay calm, especially when waiting in line or dealing with large crowds.
  • Check for discounts: Many theme parks offer students, seniors, and groups. You better buy tickets online or ask at the ticket counter for any available discounts.
