About Botanical Garden Phong Nha
The highlight of the botanical garden is the beautiful landscape hidden in the tropical forest such as the Gio waterfall higher than 30m, Vang Anh Lake, rare forest trees with populations of green limbs, timber, etc.

In my opinion, the name is quite misleading as it’s not botanic garden in a real sense, and it looks more like a jungle plot with paths.
I thought it would be a stroll around a flower garden, but it was more a hike. Most of the roads were quite challenging to walk, as they were slippery and rocky.

If you’re in a rush, I would suggest to go straight to the waterfall and enjoy the view of the Botanical garden.
Otherwise, the 1.5-hour route is an optimal one, and you will be able to see the main attractions of the forest. The main difference between the 1.5 and 3-hour course is a century-old tree.
