The rail distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon is nearly 650 km.  Vietnam Railways offer 3 trains departing for Quy Nhon with different bed types. Depending on the train, travel times can be between 12 and 14 hours.

You can choose between soft seats and sleepers. The price ranges from $20 to $35.

The arrival station (Dieu Tri station) is quite close to the center of Quy Nhon so you will have no difficulty getting to your accommodation.

My recommendation: I recommend traveling by sleeper class as it’s very comfortable comparing to soft seats. You’ll have more legroom and can relax and sleep comfortably. To get to Quy Nhon center from the station, you can book a Grab car or take Mai Linh taxis.
