Hai Au offers several buses daily departing from Gia Lam bus station to Hai Phong Bus station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, costing 100,000 VND per ticket.

Take the Hanoi – Hai Phong highway for 1 hour 50 minutes, 121km distance.
Advantage: This Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway has a scale of 6 lanes, so the road surface is relatively large, convenient for travel.
Difficulties: The fee for traveling on the highway is relatively high. Also, this road is quite far from residential areas. If you are in the city’s center or north of the town to get to this road, it is pretty far away.
For this route, go through Highway 5 and Highway 5B.
This distance is also the same as Route 1 but quite erratic. The travel time is about two and a half hours.
The downside is that this route also has high traffic fees.
