Best time to visit Than Tai hot springs park
The climate in Than Tai mountain is cool all year round. However, you should avoid visiting during the rainy season because it may be difficult to get there from Da Nang city center.
I also recommend avoiding visiting during the Vietnamese national holiday (April 30th, May 1st, and September 2nd) because it can be very crowded.
The best time to visit the hot springs is from April to September. Da Nang at this time is sunny with little rain, so it is very suitable for sightseeing.
The park has four seasons in a day. In the morning, Than Tai Mountain is like spring with a pleasant atmosphere. At noon, when the sun rises, it’s quite hot and sunny. In the afternoon, this place turns into cool and gentle autumn. And at night, the temperature drops, and the mountain welcomes the cool air of early winter.
Tips: You can check my Best time to visit Da Nang guide for more information.

Have fun at the waterpark
With an area of more than 1500m2, Than Tai mountain waterpark has lots of fun games.
Don’t forget to try the adventure slide or stand at the pool to feel the excitement as giant buckets of water descend from above.
Bath in mineral springs
This is one of our favorite activities in Than Tai park.
Surrounding the bathtubs are trees and natural scenery, providing a pleasant experience. After stressful working days, the mineral bath will lift your mood and bring a feeling of relaxation.
A mudbath also brings comfort, and natural mud is excellent for your skin. The mixture is soft and warm, unlike any other spa treatment. You’ll be surrounded by softness and no pressure on the body.
You can also try Osen – a way of bathing in the Japanese style. The Onsen bath area is built octagonal with a Japanese-style dome. The Onsen bath can help you relieve stress and fatigue.
Visit Dinosaur Park
The Dinosaur Park is an excellent destination for those who love the ancient world.
There are dinosaurs up to 30 meters tall, and they can move too! In total, the park has 100 dinosaur models with 60 different species. Exciting, isn’t it?
