Da Lat is my favorite place to live and work in Vietnam. There are several charming coffee shops in Da Lat that cater to study sessions, meetings, and all manner of freelancing.
I’ve spent a few months scouring Da Lat for the best laptop-friendly workspaces where freelancers, students, aspiring writers, and all hustlers can have a seat and get things done. Here are my favorite ones!
1991 Café
1991 Cafe is my favorite coffee shop to work in Da Lat. This cute little cafe is located in a small street a bit outside of the center, so the area is quiet and not busy.
The cafe also offers excellent coffee and tea, fast wifi, comfortable chairs, and tables.

Tips: Their Bac Xiu is great, but don’t forget to try their Americano or Peach tea as well.
- Address: 19 Dao Duy Tu street, Ward 3, Da Lat
- Opening hours: 6 am to 10 pm
Once More Cafe
I’ve been to Once More Cafe a few times and always love it there.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxing and vibrant. Once More Cafe’s menu is varied especially for breakfast choices and their weekly specials are great and fairly priced.
This charming cafe is also a perfect spot to work in Da Lat thanks to its coworking space on the second floor. It features a shared space with tables and comfy sofas, free green tea and water, strong wifi, and printing facilities.
I like that the music here is not too loud or exciting, so it’s easy to focus on my work.
- Address: 77 Hai Ba Trung Street, Ward 6, Da Lat
- Opening hours: 8 am – 5 pm

La Viet Cafe
A relaxing atmosphere, fine coffee, and delicious food at a fair price are what I love about La Viet Cafe. The menu covers a good range of beverages, and they truly give you the opportunity to try some top-quality coffee.
Also, I love that you can get a tour to learn more about the process behind the final product.
About the working environment, I think it’s good as well. The working space is suitable if you work alone or in large groups.
Bad point: La Viet Cafe is quite large and can welcome hundreds of guests at the same time, so sometimes it may be noisy.
- Address: 200 Nguyen Cong Tru, Ward 8, Da Lat
- Opening hours: 7 am to 10 pm

Anna’s House Coffee
This coffee shop is located on the way to Robin hill near Da Lat cable car. It’s only open until 5 pm because it is located behind the gate of the tourist cable car.
The cafe is quiet, pleasant, and I like its warm and friendly atmosphere. The shop is not large, so it may be noisy if the guests are loud.
If you’re working during lunchtime, don’t forget to try their delicious hamburgers and waffles.
- Address: 9B Dong Da Street Ward 3, Da Lat
- Opening hours: 7:30 am – 5 pm
