How to get to O Quy Ho Pass

O Quy Ho Pass is located about 17km away from Sapa town, Vietnam. To reach O Quy Ho Pass, you must go from Sapa town to Highway 4D.

An ideal itinerary is that you depart from Sapa, pass Silver waterfall about 12 km, go through Hoang Lien Son National Park with Tram Ton Forest Protection Point, and go straight to O Quy Ho.

At an altitude of 2,073m of the famous pass, you will have the opportunity to see the sea of clouds floating like a fairyland.

Note:

As the road is quite dangerous, you need to make sure you are a good driver. Especially in the turns, pay special attention and go slowly while carefully observing the sides of the road.

If you ride a scooter or motorbike, you should go in groups to support each other on the way.

Otherwise, you can rent a car charter if you travel in a big group. Also, it’s safer, and you can stop any time you want as well.

Tips: If you get lost, you search Google for the “Heaven Gate.”
