Bus travel is the most convenient way to get from Bangkok to Koh Tao.
Lomprayah offers a joint bus + speedboat trip from Bangkok via Chumpon, and all connections are guaranteed. The journey takes about 11 hours and 45 minutes, and the ticket price is $39 (€39).
