My flight was super delayed and I wouldn't have made it to Takasaki before midnight, so I had to scramble to find somewhere to stay near Tokyo Station. Luckily for me, I found this place. Despite my late arrival, the front desk was properly staffed and helpful with good English. The bed was about standard for a hostel in terms of comfort, but it was cleaner and quieter than any hostel I've stayed at before. The room I stayed in had a few beds arranged in a bunk bed style with a curtain to cover the entrance. The shower, sink, and toilet were all located just outside the room in the hallway. I didn't have breakfast there, but the common area down by the entrance seemed friendly and lively when I was checking out in the morning.

The dorm room was spacious enough to open a large suitcase beside your bunk bed. The room as well as the shared spaces, toilet and shower are clean too. It's a bit more expensive than the first hostel I stayed at in Tokyo on the same trip and felt like the first one was better. But this is still a good choice for solo travelers.

The bunk beds were spacious enough to fit a duffel bag at my feet with room to spare (5’10”). Above everything else was the staff. I had the very stressful experience of losing my wallet on the first day, and Chloe went above and beyond to help me. Her kindness and generosity saved me so much time and stress. Even when my wallet was found and I no longer needed help, Chloe and the rest of the staff always greeted me with a smile and were very helpful. Given the impeccable cleanliness, location, thoughtful policies, and incredibly kindness, this is definitely a 10/10 stay!

The staff were very friendly and super helpful. Location was pretty close to a few subway stations. You have to eat on the 2nd floor but it's a good opportunity to mingle with other guests.
