The host Moon and Lyly were great and organized a tour for us and motorbike rental ..they were always very friendly and greeted us with a smile! We would definitely stay again.

Overall, we had a great experience with Funny Monkey; the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive & kind, and the amenities were great. They were accommodating for our 3am arrival and surprised us with an anniversary cake after they found out we were on our honeymoon(so sweet!). They offered recommendations to places to eat even though they had their own fantastic food options they served. The property was wonderful, clean, and inviting. Would highly recommend this homestay!

The room, the view, the beds, the food are so good. Thuy and Phuong kept in touch until we arrived. They arranged pickup from the train station, also tours. The food was very tasty. The mixed noodles with peanut sauce, pho. While waiting for our late night train, Phuong kept us company and gave more insight in to vietnamese culture. She also helped send our photos taken by our tour guide.

We were so happy with the large size of our room and especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and the window seat overlooking the river and all the boats heading to the cave. The staff helped us set up our transportation from Dong Hoi and to Hue at the end of our stay. We also rented motorbikes and used bicycles all arranged by the helpful staff. They did heaps of our laundry at a fair price! We ate at the connected restaurant once and enjoyed a simple meal. The homestay is at one end of Phong Nha but not too far from the other restaurants and Phong Nha dragon boat dock. The AC and fan combo worked very well at cooling down the room. Wifi worked well. They offered filtered water to refill our water bottles.
