Krabi to Koh Lanta by Bus/Van

Taking a bus or van from Krabi to Koh Lanta is a cost-effective way to go, especially if you’re watching your budget.

While it may not be as fast as driving yourself, it gives you a chance to sit back and enjoy the scenery!

Most of these bus or van services set off from Krabi Town or Krabi bus station. Some services also pick you up right from your hotel. Convenient, right?

The ride typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, which includes the time spent on the ferry crossing between the mainland and Koh Lanta.

Expect to pay about $10 to $14 for a one-way trip.

On our trip, our pickup was 30 minutes late, and the ferry took about 30 minutes.

The bus services usually start around 7:30 am, with the last bus leaving around 4:30 pm. Check the specific times when you book, as they can vary.
